San Diego Surf Forecast - For Wednesday - 1/06/10

The small, but playful WNW swell mix will continue on Wednesday…even showing a little more energy than it did on Tuesday. Look for the average W-WNW facing spots, mostly in North County, to hold around knee-waist high. The better WNW spots and top NW breaks in South County will be in the waist-chest high range with some shoulder high sets mixing in at the spots that can handle a little more tide.

Winds will be nice tomorrow…mostly light and variable in the morning with some pockets of offshore winds through the hills and canyons of North County. Look for the winds to shift more WNW around 10-12 knots for the afternoon, but possibly laying down again in the evening.
