San Diego Surf Forecast - for Wednesday - 2/3/2010

Make sure to read the full region forecast it has more complete details on the incoming swell and regional conditions. Click here for the full forecast www.socalsurf.com.

New WNW-NW swell fills in and peaks on Wednesday…with a touch of onshore texture filling in along with it. Look for the average WNW-NW facing breaks throughout the county to be in the chest-shoulder high range…with some occasional shoulder high+ sets mixing in on the lower tides. Top NW facing spots will be in shoulder-head high range with overhead sets…and some occasionally bigger waves showing through the lower tides as well. Look for the best shape at the points/reefs exposed to the swell…but expect a bit of texture crumble to push through for the morning and building bump coming through in the afternoon.

Winds will be light NW-NNW for the morning…mostly below 5-8 knots. WNW winds build up to the 10-15 knot range for the afternoon. Cloudy skies and a little drizzle are on tap for most of the day.

Here are the tides…
